The PLEX platform is dedicated to the experimental study of turbulence in fluids. The platform is hosted by the Ecole Centrale de Lille in the buildings dedicated to the LMFL (Laboratoire de Mécanique des Fluides de Lille) on the Villeneuve d'Ascq campus.
The platform is characterized by three main activities:

Services
For this, it has several study facilities: wind tunnels, mixers, jets. It also has many diagnostic tools for studying turbulence, including thermal and optical anemometry techniques.
The platform is supported by the Ecole Centrale de Lille, the CNRS and the University of Lille.
